Now is the time to get a head start in socialization and obedience training! This program is ideal for pet parents who do not have the time or patience to handle the frustrations of puppy training, and is the first step in teaching healthy behaviors while avoiding negative ones. This includes crate training, potty training, socialization, basic obedience, house manners, and leash training. Understand that puppies not fully vaccinated will not leave the property. It is recommended to bring them back for a refresher course as they mature to continue their education by learning more commands and how to handle real-life distractions. Some puppies may need an additional week (+$550)

Training Courses

Crate Training

Your puppy will be crate trained! Not only will crate training teach your puppy independence, but they will learn to find comfort in their crate. This is an important skill for your puppy to learn, as they may need to be crated during emergencies, boarding, vet clinics, grooming, or transportation. It will be easier on your puppy if they are not stressed during these events.

Potty Training

Your puppy will be potty trained! This will go hand in hand with crate and leash training, by creating a routine for potty breaks and preventing accidents in their sleeping area. Pee pads will not be used. Instead, they will learn how to communicate by ringing the door potty training bells. No more guessing when your puppy needs to go potty with this form of communication!

Socialization

Your puppy will be boarding in a setting where other dogs will co-exist. They will learn proper playstyles, body language, and boundaries. I will be supervising 100% of the time, stepping in to correct and redirect undesired behaviors, such as growling, jumping, and nipping. Your puppy will learn from the house manners that older, balanced dogs display here.

Foundational Obedience

Your puppy will learn "sit", "stay", "come", "lay down", and name recognition. While this is just a starter course for basic obedience, learning these basic commands assist in learning other skills, such as recall, leash etiquette, impulse control, emotional regulation, cute tricks, and so much more!

House Manners

Your puppy will learn appropriate household behaviors, such as settling calmly, chewing on assigned items only, and proper use of furniture. They will learn to respect boundaries set in place, such as off limit areas, invading personal space, and curbing rude or pushy behaviors. They will model appropriate behaviors by observing the balanced dogs they share space with.

Leash Manners

Your puppy will learn basic leash manners. Beginning with getting comfortable with a leash and harness, they will soon associate their gear with outside time. Leading your puppy outside on the leash ensures they take care of their business first and will be rewarded with play time in the yard.
