I was extremely anxious about leaving him for 6 weeks but Kenzie sent me regular updates and took him on sooo many fun adventures. She would send pictures and videos so I could see how he was doing. He got along so well with the other doggies there and I think that helped him feel more comfortable. She treated Ozzie like part of her family and loved him just like we do! I’m telling you she has a gift with animals. I would highly, highly recommend her training class. Ozzie is a changed dog and all his impulsive behaviors are gone!!!"

What can I say? I have the friendliest Goldendoodle named Charlie who is so full of energy, loves attention, but doesn’t realize just how large he is. He gets so excited to meet new furry friends and people that he can’t contain his excitement and our biggest challenge is jumping on people and some manners. We met Mackenzie in June 2024 and reassured me that Charlie has potential to get trained. Before boarding and training, he stayed with her for the weekend. I love that Mackenzie keeps in touched with me every single day and sends me pictures and videos. She is so compassionate and has so much love for all animals and has so much knowledge and skills to help us pet parents that I knew she’s our person for training and for boarding. Charlie has so much fun with her pups and the new furry friends he gets to meet there.
Mackenzie not only taught him different commands, off leash training, but she cured Charlie’s car sickness during boarding and training. My handsome boy can finally ride without vomiting in 5min and can follow me around the house or go hiking without being on a leash. Mackenzie is also very quick to respond when you need her guidance and boost your confidence that you and your pup can do this training together and maintain it. I’ve made a lot of mistakes and she has been my greatest support with my very challenging pup. It feels like she has become a part of my little family because she is the only person I trust with Charlie. He knows that her home is his second home where he gets to learn new tricks and commands and where he also feels safe and loved. Thank you Mackenzie from the bottom of my heart!"

We put our puppy in the Basic Puppy program which is three weeks, she schedules visits to show progress. We are very happy with the training Lady received she came back much more calm down and McKenzie was able to show us techniques to continue training at home. "10/10 would recommend. my furbaby has been extremely satisfied and wore out on all of his hikes so far. He’s such a good boy but not socialized that much so this has been wonderful socialization for him. he even made a friend with another hiking furbaby. Will definitely continue to send him on his weekly field trip. I like that every week is not the same exact place/plan and that she takes awesome pictures and takes the time to meet whatever needs/goals you and your furbaby have. you won’t be disappointed!"

MacKenzie was very helpful and integrated the other dogs slowly one at a time to ensure everyone was comfortable with each other before I even left. I loved that it’s a home environment and lots of friends to play and socialize with as well as a fenced yard for them to run around in.
She gave me lots of updates with videos and pics during the day which helped us knowing our dog was enjoying herself the entire day. you can tell she loves all the dogs in her care and treats them as her own. Our dog had zero anxiety being there, and was still “smiling” when I picked her up that evening.
Not only did she do a great job, but she was affordable as well which I have found, is hard to find both, affordability AND quality, so that too, was important. We will definitely continue to use pets in progress!"

"Mackenzie is so great . My kids are in their early twenties. I had two dogs to pass away last year, they were 15 and 16years old. so it's been a long time since I've had a puppy in the house. It's been like starting all over with toddlers lol. I'm so glad I found her and pet in progress I was so used to just picking up and go to conferences and traveling, and she's made that possible again. She's so great! she's always came through and kept my Zeke. she's picked him up she's dropped him off. He loves going to her place and interacting with the other dogs. she's bathed, grooming and she's treats him like her own. She's helped with puppy training. she's even educated me on the breed who knew that you had to pluck dog's ears. Hopefully soon we'll get to start doing the hikes. Would recommend her to anyone!"

"We have left our girls with Mackenzie twice and both times we picked up the happiest girls in the world! When we dropped them off for boarding they would use the bathroom in the house and our smaller pup did not know any commands. When we picked them up after 4 days they both knew basic commands and the potting in the house stopped! We booked with her again and it was amazing!
Our small tan pup was very skittish of everything and everyone and Mackenzie did amazing reading her body language and bit pushing her to be with her big dogs! She eventually got some courage and wanted to play with them! Our black and white pup LOVES to play with big dogs and Mackenzie closely monitored her with them!
We received several updates and pictures (I’ve attached a few for example) a day! She has been our go to for questions and advise as well was training and boarding! Our girls LOVE Miss Mackenzie and we know you will too!"
